Emperor remarked that though two encounters had taken place but the Mughal army failed to capture Baba Banda Singh Bahadur; no Mughal noble dares to march against the Sikhs; strategy to fight the Sikhs that one column of Mughal army be stationed towards the east of river Beas and another in the foot hills of Shivalik; the Emperor ordered the Rajput chiefs to take position on the left bank of river Sutlej and chastise Baba Banda Singh Bahadur in case he appear there. |
