Youngest Martyrdom

During the first battle of Lohgarh, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur, as matter war strategy attack Lahore and the Emperor Bahadur Shah rushed from Lohgarh to Lahore along with his mammoth army. Mughals had no strategy to deal with the attacks of Sikhs and the hill states also came under the control of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur. In January 1711 the Ruler of Chamba, offered Baba Banda Singh Bahadur for marriage with his daughter Bibi Sushil Kaur. Baba Banda Singh Bahadur accepted the offer and the marriage of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur and Bibi Sushil Kaur took place at Chamba in January 1711. The struggle between Mughals and Sikhs continued. In August 1711, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur came back to Lohgarh Sikh State Capital. In January 1712, Bibi Sushil Kaur gave birth to Ajay Singh the son of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur. In 1715 Baba Banda Singh Bahadur was arrested from Gurdas Nangal along with his companions and his family. In 1716, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur was martyred at Delhi along with his companions and family members. Ajay Singh was only four year old when he was martyred by the Mughal Emperor Farrukhsiyar. Ajay Singh became the youngest martyrdom in the world.
